MTNL is INDIA'S leading telecom and cellular company. This company is the first and only provider of 3G and HSDPA (High Speed Downlink Package/Packet Access). People can get 3G prepaid package for rs 150 only under which they will be getting following facilities

1. Video and Voice calls at 1p/sec on any network except Mtnl (Std and Local)
2. 1/2p for Video and Voice call to Mtnl
3. Local sms 25p, National re. 1 and ISD Rs.5

Many people think that 3G means video calling but actually 3g means high speed internet. Customer using 3G handset and sim gets speed from 2-7.2 MBPS. 3G has many more VAS that 2/2.5G doesnt offer. People have access to TV CHANNELS, GAMES, CHEAP INTERNET etc
Mtnl Downloading charges are 1p/10kb. Same charges are applicable in NATIONAL ROAMING.
People can buy cheap internet data cards if they are heavy users of internet.

RS 99 - 130MB
RS 250 - 0.5 GB
RS 2500 - UNLIMITED
