Mtnl is hitting BullsEye. Mtnl has already cheapened his 512kbps plan but not 1mbps plan even doesnt worth too much. It just cost rs 999 + 100 calls free. Year ago, we were paying this much for 256kbps but now we are paying same for 1mbps. Soon time will come when mtnl will introduce 16mbps as per are news. So better isto opt for mtnl than any other private connection provider.
